ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
& PROJECT APPROVALS

Obtaining permits and approvals for projects can be a daunting task and may involve multiple jurisdictions or regulatory agencies, particularly for projects with construction in aquatic environments.  Forgetting or misunderstanding just one permit, can result in costly delays to a project.

Having an appropriately developed Construction Environmental Management Plan not only lowers the risk of environmental harm, but also lowers the risk to the project from potential delays due to regulatory non-compliance, or remediation.

GreatPacific is relied upon to acquire the necessary permits and approvals for new development projects as well as to develop management plans for responsible project execution.

Sustainable Coastal Development

People are naturally attracted to shorelines and water environments, which puts pressure on these important systems.  Sustainable coastal development recognizes ecological features and functions of shoreline systems to maintain or restore their function post-development.  While providing satisfaction that the environment will be cared for, this approach can save owners money by avoiding compensation costs for lost habitat, and the liability of transferring or causing erosion or other problems to adjacent property owners.

Customers trust GreatPacific with planning coastal development due to our experience assisting industrial, municipal and other private owners with a wide variety of waterfront developments.
